Check-in System (All events require children to be registered through Kids Check)
In Children's Ministry at Gloria Dei we take the safety and security of your child very seriously. To aid in implementing a new check in/security system for all of our children activities, please do the following steps:
1. Today: Register your children today by clicking here.
2. Faith Alive, Grace Place, VBS, Camps, etc.,: Sign in your children at the Children's Ministry kiosk before every event. 3. Pick up your children by signing them out at the kiosk. |

Teachers and helpers! New
We appreciate all of our teachers and helpers as they spend their time and effort to teach our children about Jesus Christ. You are the best! To assist you in your passion, we have Faith Alive lessons online for preschool, grades K-2 and grades 3-5. (Please note: we plan on publishing Grace Place curriculum as well, but will not be able to do so for "The Story" due to copyright laws.) Enjoy! |

School year Grace Place: Weekends
Saturdays at 5:50 p.m. and Sundays at 8:20, 9:50, 10:20 and 11:20 a.m.
Preschool (ages 2-5) and Elementary Children (K-5)
Grace Place offers age-appropriate educational opportunities for children ages 2 through grade 5. Families are welcome to worship together before children are excused for Grace Place, or families can take their children to the individual classrooms. We offer lots of multi-sensory activities that will help children learn about God's Word. Register your children today by clicking here. (see above for more information.)

Faith Alive for Preschool (ages 2-5) and Elementary Children (K-5)
Wednesdays, from 6-7 p.m.
Children ages 2 through grade 5 will then head to their specific classes where they will enjoy music, play, story reading, crafts and Bible-based lessons.

Faith Alive Meals
Wednesdays from 5-6:15 p.m.
Wednesdays, Sept. 12, 2012-May 1, 2013, 5:00-6:15 p.m.
Enjoy a meal with the entire family of Gloria Dei in the Family Life Center on Wednesday evenings during the school year. The cost is $5 per adult, and $2.50 per child, children under 2 eat free.
April 10: Bacon Lettuce and Tomato/Brisket
April 17: Chicken Fingers
April 24: Grilled Hamburgers

GirlZ of Faith for Grades 4 and 5
First and Third Sunday of each month from 6-7:15 p.m. - Next meetings - April 14 and April 21
Girlz of Faith is a group for girls in grades 4 and 5 that meets twice a month. It will be a time for fellowship, Bible study, crafts, snacks and tons of fun. The group will meet in room 114. Please use the East Entrance.

Nursery
Our professionally staffed nursery is located below the Sanctuary and is dedicated to providing excellent care for your newborns and children up to 3 years old. The nursery is open on Saturdays from 5:15-6:30 p.m.; Sundays from 7:45 a.m.-12 p.m.; and Wednesdays beginning at 5 p.m.
In addition, the nursery is opened during most adult activities. If you have any questions concerning the hours, please call the church office today. |

New Life Ministry Partners
Gloria Dei seems to be "busting at the seams" with all the new babies. All these new ones mean lots of activity with the New Life Ministry Action Team. More ministry partners are needed in this growing area to serve as seamstresses, cooks and visitors. If you are interested, contact DeAnn Mc Cue. |

Contemporary Worship Service
10:00 a.m. Sunday - Contemporary Worship in the Family Life Center
This high-energy service offers a casual setting for those who enjoy a come-as-you-are contemporary environment. A gathering of celebration will be led by our worship team and band in the Family Life Center, inviting worshipers to lift anthems to our God. There will be time for intimacy with God, reflection on his promises and the opportunity to grow as his Word is declared via this video venue. Grace Place will be offered.
Communion will be offered on the second and fourth Sunday of every month. |
