 Our licensed preschool is for children ages 2-5 and employs quality teachers and assistants.
 
 Classes begin the day after Labor Day each year and end just before Memorial Day. Sessions are 9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-3 p.m.
 
 Tiny Treasures is the first stand-alone preschool  in Iowa District West to have received National Lutheran Schools  Accreditation. In addition, we have been awarded a 5-Star Rating in Iowa’s Quality Rating System  which is  the highest level attainable.  This  rating demonstrates the commitment that Tiny Treasures has toward providing the  highest quality education possible for its preschoolers, in the areas of health  and safety, physical environment, family and community partnerships,  leadership and administration and professional development of its  teachers.

                      | Spring Consignment Sale 2013 - April 19 and 20  Our  spring consignment sale will be here before we know it!  Sale hours will be 8:00-5:00 on Friday, April  19 and 8:00-11:00 “half-price sale” on Saturday, April 20. 
 If  you are interested in being a seller at our spring consignment sale, please  return the registration form that was sent home last week, and then you will be  assigned a seller number.  Sellers get to  keep 70% of the profit, and the remaining 30% supports Tiny Treasures.  If you were a seller at our fall sale, you  will receive the same seller number.  To  help defray the cost of cash registers, as well as printing and advertising  costs, we are requiring a $5.00 registration fee, which you may pay by cash,  check, or on-line at Gloria Dei’s website.   We are also requiring all sellers to work at least two hours, either  during set-up, during the sale, during clean-up, or during a combination of all  three!  If you want to shop the pre-sale,  you must volunteer to work at least four hours.   Sign-up sheets for volunteering are posted on the office window.  Please help us make this consignment sale a  success!

                      | Playgroup For Ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2  Playgroup classes begin on Friday, February 7, 2014  from

The Playgroup is a developmentally sound program which provides a smooth transition into preschool. 
 Children must be three by September 15, 2013, toilet -trained and have current physical and immunizations. Cost: Tuition $60 per month and a one-time registration fee of $10.

                      | 2012 Fundraiser  Thank you to everyone who participated in our first aid kit  fundraiser.  Together we sold a little  over $3,000 worth of first aid kits, and the preschool gets to keep half of  that, which will be an excellent start to our scholarship program!  Because we added a couple days to the sale,  the kits will be here the first week of December. |

                      | Staff Updates: Jo Lynn Yeutsy, Director of Tiny Treasures, recently   attended a 40-hour course to obtain her National Administrator Credential,   through the National Child Care Association.  The National Administrator   Credential (NAC) is recognized   as a mark of excellence that designates individuals who have demonstrated the   knowledge essential to managing a child care center or   preschool. Tracy  Hoffman, a teacher in our 3C and 4/5s classrooms, was recently awarded her  Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.    The Child Development Associate (CDA) program is designed  to offer training opportunities for early childhood staff who want to enhance  the quality of child care and early education they provide by defining,  evaluating, recognizing, and implementing the competencies established by the  Council for Early Childhood Professional Recognition. Mrs. Hoffman has  worked very hard to complete 120 hours of training and to successfully pass her  verification visit. Jane Meythaler, a teacher in Tiny Treasures’ Pre-K   classroom, was recently awarded her Child Development Associate (CDA)   credential. The Child   Development Associate (CDA) program is designed to offer training opportunities   for early childhood staff who want to enhance the quality of child care and   early education they provide by defining, evaluating, recognizing, and   implementing the competencies established by the Council for Early Childhood   Professional Recognition.                       | Campbell's Labels for Education  Put the Soup On! Remember to clip and save the  small,  colored stamp and UPC symbol on the Campbell's can or box items. After you enjoy delicious  soup and other Campbell foods put your  redemption coupons in the Campbell  soup display located outside the Tiny Treasures office.  When we redeem the coupons we are given the opportunity to purchase items for  the preschool.  Thank you. |

                      | Online Tuition Payment Options Now Available   In a response to inquiries about paying online, Gloria Dei now has the capabilities of using a secure online payment process for online giving donations, missions, building fees; and fees associated with our preschool,  summer camps, dance classes, and other seasonal events. In addition, confirmation, youth gatherings, and mission trips fees can now be paid online by using debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and online pay-by-check.  The process is easy and secure.All you need to do is to Click here to access the online giving or online payment options.  This takes you to Vanco’s secure Web site, the same provider of our Simply Giving electronic funds transfer program.
 Registrations and online payments: Please note: Our online payments and online registrations will need to be filled out separately. For example, if you plan to attend a summer camp, then you will need to register online and then proceed to the online payment Web site.

                      | Tiny Treasures Receives Accreditation! A formal presentation of The National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) of Tiny Treasures was held in the Sanctuary  Thursday, Sept. 24, 2010. This high honor signifies Tiny Treasures fulfilled the strict NLSA standards and links the preschool to nearly 700 Lutheran schools. Rev. Robert Riggert from Iowa District West presented the certificate. “We are so excited and we celebrate how Tiny Treasures is an excellent place for children and families to grow and learn about Jesus,” said Rev.
