Ways to connect to our youth
To impact our youth, the youth ministry has defined specific areas of need. And now we need your help! Please take a few minutes to review the list. If a specific task resonates with you, please contact Tim Kightlinger at tim@gloriadeionline.com.

Prayer Ministry Team:
This team will consist of members who will shower the activities and ministry with prayer. The members of this team must love to pray and see prayer as a powerful force of change. Time commitment: 1-2 hours a month.
Junior High Fellowship Team:
Since teenagers love to have fun; this team will oversee a junior high activity once a month. Members of this team should enjoy building relationships with teens and are able to organize activities. Time commitment: 4-5 hours a month.
Junior High Education Team:
This team will continue the success of our Wednesday evening small-group ministry, assist in recruiting teaching partners and oversee the curriculum. Members of the team must enjoy meeting others and evaluating curriculum. Time commitment: 2 hours a month.
Confirmation Retreat Team:
This team will assist in setting up for each retreat during the year. Team members must love to be creative, enjoy organizing and implementing events. Time commitment: 2-3 hours four times a year.
Youth Ministry Mission Team:

This team will organize service and mission opportunities for our youth ministry. They will find and offer opportunities for our teens to connect with each other with the goal of serving and ministering to others. Time commitment: 2 hours a month.
Senior High Dream Team:
How can we challenge, engage and touch the lives of the high school students in the Des Moines metro area? This team will come together to seek God’s direction on how we can effectively follow God’s Spirit and move this generation toward impacting their world for Jesus. Members must enjoy creative thinking/ideas, identify the needs of the teenage world and enjoy getting things done. Time commitment: 4 hours a month.
Parents of Teenagers Support Team:
To support our parents with teenagers, Craig and Julie Dueker will offer short-term classes on Sunday mornings (3-5 weeks in length) three times a year. We need 3-4 parents to join them. Time commitment: 3-5 hours during various months.
