Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Governing Board
January 17, 2012 – Special Meeting
The meeting began at 6:00 p.m.
In attendance were Casey Fluegge, Kevin Kelley, Jason Hoffman, Wendi Canada, Barb Miles, Marv Rohn, Bruce Amendt, Mark Kramer, Ann Zimmermann, and Pastor Burcham.
Visitor Recognition: John Schmidt, a member of the congregation who works in statistical analysis, was present, as well as Laura Rath as recording secretary.
John Schmidt discussed with the Board a congregational survey to follow up the December congregational vote. Since this is in John’s line of work, he will assist the Board in formatting the survey. The survey link will be available to the congregation Friday, January 27-Monday, February 6. Members will be encouraged to go online to take the survey, however, written copies will also be available at the Information Centers.
The Board discussed the letter to be mailed to all members on Monday, January 23, which will explain the survey and the plans to move forward in making repairs to 8301 Aurora.
The meeting ended at 8:25 p.m.
